We had a great time over New Year's at a hotel in a lovely village. The room was excellent, with a cozy bed on a mezzanine floor and a spacious seating area. The bathroom was good too, with a fantastic shower that worked like a dream. The hotel had safe storage for our bikes, which was a bonus. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The key location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying the village atmosphere.
There was a downside to our stay. When we arrived, there was no one at the hotel to greet us, and we had to call multiple times to get someone's attention.

The soundproofing of the hotel could be improved, as noise from other guests can be heard.
